Introduction to Establishing a Joint Venture Company

Generally, if a U.S. company wishes to set up a branch in China, it is required to provide at least three types of documents: the company registration document (Certificate of Incorporation or Articles of Incorporation), a certificate of good standing (Good Standing or Certificate of Account Status), and a bank credit letter (Bank Letter):
