Whether you are a Chinese, American, or any other nationality, we can assist clients with consular authentication (three-level authentication/notarization).

If you are an American citizen, you cannot directly go to the Chinese embassy for notarization, as the Chinese embassies and consulates in the United States only provide notarization services for Chinese citizens residing in the U.S., not for foreigners (including Chinese Americans).

American citizens must first complete notarization (first-level notarization) at a qualified local notary agency (such as our Mei Yu Company).

Then, they must proceed with authentication by relevant U.S. government departments (second-level authentication) and authentication by the Chinese embassy or consulate in the United States (consular authentication/third-level authentication).
