You can draft a power of attorney (we have various samples for your reference), sign it, which involves notarization by a local notary public, and then we can assist with the secondary authentication by the state government and the consular authentication (three-level authentication/notarization) by the Chinese embassy or consulate.
If you are located far away and cannot visit our office in person, but your state falls under the jurisdiction of the New York Consulate General, you can have the power of attorney notarized by a local notary public (first-level notarization). Then, send us the notarized power of attorney, the Chinese embassy/consulate authentication application form, and a copy of the applicant’s ID (photo page). We will handle the secondary authentication by the state government and the consular authentication (three-level authentication/notarization) by the Chinese embassy or consulate. Once completed, we will mail the documents back to you.
