The quality of notaries or notary service providers varies widely, and many notarized documents are carelessly prepared, leading to numerous issues during subsequent consular authentication. In light of this, let's explain what constitutes a standard notarization format!
Generally, a notary office needs to provide three types of stamps: the notary seal, the notarial wording stamp (e.g., 1/ signed in person, 2/ original matches the copy, etc.), and the notary embossed seal. At the very least, the notary seal and the notarial wording stamp are essential. If either is missing, some consulates may reject the document!
