For Chinese consular authentication in Guam, you need to go to the Los Angeles Consulate, as the Pacific Islands are under the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles Consulate. If you need to renew or replace your Chinese passport, you must go to the Los Angeles Consulate in person. Generally, the Los Angeles Consulate sends a working group to the local area every year to assist Chinese expatriates with passport-related services. However, you still need to complete an online appointment before the consular staff can assist you. Applicants must log in to the Overseas Passport Application Online Appointment System in advance to make an appointment and print the appointment confirmation. Appointments are also required for Hawaii, Saipan, and American Samoa.
