Common Notarized Documents
- Diplomas, degree certificates, transcripts, etc.;
- Birth certificates, no criminal record certificates, marriage/single status certificates, kinship certificates, passports, etc.;
- Driver's licenses, marriage certificates, professional qualification certificates, business licenses, household registration books, medical birth certificates, bank deposit slips, property ownership certificates, etc.;
- Consent letters for travel, declarations, income certificates, deposit certificates, employment certificates, etc.
Required Materials for Chinese Birth Certificate Notarization
- Scanned copies of both sides of the applicant's and parents' ID cards + household registration book (cover page + householder page + personal information pages of all three individuals), scanned copies of parents' marriage/divorce certificates;
- Birth certificate/one-child certificate (one of these). If unavailable, a certificate from the local police station is required (must be printed and stamped, not handwritten, and include the police station's landline number and the name of the officer issuing the certificate for verification by the notary office);
- For use in the United States, provide one electronic copy of a one-inch white-background photo.
Note: All documents must be provided as color scanned electronic copies, 1:1 size with the originals.
Required Materials for Chinese Parent-Child Relationship Certificate Notarization
- Scanned copies of both sides of the applicant's and parents' ID cards + household registration book (cover page + householder page + personal information pages of all three individuals), scanned copies of parents' marriage/divorce certificates;
- Birth certificate/one-child certificate (one of these). If unavailable, a certificate from the local police station is required (must be printed and stamped, not handwritten, and include the police station's landline number and the name of the officer issuing the certificate for verification by the notary office).
Note: All documents must be provided as color scanned electronic copies, 1:1 size with the originals.
Chinese No Criminal Record Certificate Notarization
- Scanned copies of both sides of the ID card + household registration book (cover page + householder page + applicant's page);
- Scanned copy of the no criminal record certificate (provide or include the police station's landline number and the name of the officer issuing the certificate for verification by the notary office).
Note: Scanned copies must be 1:1 size with the originals, on a white background, and properly aligned.
Chinese Marriage Certificate Notarization
- Scanned copy of the applicant's entire marriage certificate (including the cover, totaling 4 pages);
- Scanned copies of both sides of both spouses' ID cards + household registration book (cover page + householder's personal information page + personal information pages of both individuals);
- If there are children, it is recommended to provide a scanned copy of the child's medical birth certificate.
Note: Scanned copies must be 1:1 size with the originals, on a white background, and properly aligned.
Chinese Divorce Certificate Notarization
- Scanned copy of the applicant's entire divorce certificate (including the cover, totaling 4 pages);
- Scanned copies of both sides of both parties' ID cards + household registration book (cover page + householder's personal information page + personal information pages of both individuals);
- If there are children, it is recommended to provide a scanned copy of the child's medical birth certificate.
Note: Scanned copies must be 1:1 size with the originals, on a white background, and properly aligned.
Chinese Single Status Certificate Notarization
- Scanned copies of the household registration book (householder page + householder's personal page + applicant's page) + ID card + certificate from the Civil Affairs Bureau;
- Two copies of the power of attorney signed without the date, mailed, and printed. Record a video of no less than 10 seconds while signing and send it to the customer service email;
- Scanned copies of both sides of the principal's and agent's ID cards/passports + household registration book (cover page + householder's personal information page + applicant's page + related person's page);
- Photo of the principal holding their ID card and the signed power of attorney (taken indoors against a white wall background);
- Scanned copies of parents' marriage certificate, minor's medical birth certificate, and passport.
Note: All documents must be provided as color scanned electronic copies, 1:1 size with the originals.
Chinese Power of Attorney and Consent Letter Notarization
- Two copies of the power of attorney signed without the date, mailed, and printed. Record a video of no less than 10 seconds while signing and send it to our email;
- Scanned copies of both sides of the principal's and agent's ID cards/passports + household registration book (cover page + householder's personal information page + applicant's page + related person's page);
- Photo of the principal holding their ID card and the signed power of attorney (taken indoors against a white wall background);
- Scanned copies of parents' marriage certificate, minor's medical birth certificate, and passport.
