What Documents Can Be Authenticated by the U.S. Department of State? 518-956-5673

C.E.V. offers U.S. Department of State authentication services. If it is inconvenient for you to handle the U.S. Department of State authentication process, you can simply entrust it to us. Mail your documents to us, and we will personally walk them into the Department of State office for submission, making the process faster and more convenient. All required documents must meet the following conditions to be eligible for U.S. Department of State authentication:

• All seals and signatures must be original.
• All certificate dates must be arranged in chronological order.
• All non-English foreign language documents must include a certified (notarized) English translation.
• If a copy is used, it must include a statement declaring it to be a true and accurate copy.

Experience Sharing

Sign in the presence of a notary, then obtain authentication from the county court clerk (Notary Authentication). In some states where county authentication is not required, proceed directly to the Secretary of State for certification (notarization).
