Colorado Secretary of State Apostille Authentication 518-956-5673

Self-Service Guide for Colorado Secretary of State Notarization and Authentication: 518-956-5673

The Secretary of State offers two types of authentication: Apostille and Certificate of Authentication. An Apostille, also known as "Hague Authentication," is only valid within Hague Convention member countries. Since Chinese consulates are currently not part of the Hague Apostille Convention, documents submitted to Chinese consulates in the United States must use a "Certificate of Authentication."

If you don’t have time to handle the process yourself, you can contact CHV for assistance. Call our customer service at 518-956-5673 (US). We provide notarization and authentication services for personal or corporate documents across all 50 U.S. states, including consular three-level authentication or Hague Apostille. Expedited services are available, with completion in as fast as 3 business days.

Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler’s office in Denver issues Apostilles and Certificates of Authentication for original Colorado documents, including birth, death, and marriage certificates, as well as high school and college diplomas and transcripts.

Please ensure you submit a document with an original signature, accompanied by a proper notary acknowledgment, including the date, seal, and notary signature.
