(1) Passport: Original passport valid for more than 6 months with blank visa pages, plus one copy of the passport photo page.
(2) Visa Application Form and Photo: One completed "Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" (V2013) and one recent color passport photo (light background, front view, without headwear) taken within the last 6 months, attached to the application form.
(3) Proof of Legal Stay or Residence (for non-U.S. citizens): Original and copy of valid proof or visa for legal stay, residence, work, or study in the country of residence.
(4) Previous Chinese Passport or Chinese Visa (for those who previously held Chinese nationality and later acquired foreign nationality):
1. If applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, provide the original previous Chinese passport and a copy of its photo page.
2. If you have previously obtained a Chinese visa and are applying with a newly issued foreign passport, provide copies of the photo page of the previous foreign passport and the Chinese visa obtained.
3. If the name on the foreign passport differs from that on the previous Chinese passport/Chinese visa, also provide official documentation proving the name change.

(6) Itinerary materials such as round-trip flight tickets and hotel reservations; or an invitation letter issued by a Chinese entity or individual, which must include the following:
1. Invitee's personal information: name, gender, date of birth, etc.
2. Invitee's travel arrangements: arrival and departure dates, travel destinations, etc.
3. Inviting entity or inviter information: name of the inviting entity or inviter, contact phone number, address, entity seal, signature of the legal representative or inviter, etc.
