Personal Identification Documents
1. Passport:
- A passport valid for at least nine months beyond the return date. If it is an older version, please sign on the last page and provide the old passport as well. 2. Photos:
- Two 2-inch photos taken within the last six months (white background color photos, size 3.5x4.5 cm, head to chin measurement 3.1x3.6 cm). 3. ID Card:
- One A4 copy of both front and back. 4. Household Register:
- Copies of every page for all members. If it is a collective household register, provide the first page and your own page. 5. Marriage Certificate:
- Married applicants need to provide a copy of the marriage certificate. 6. Financial Proof:
- Copy of bank passbook and corresponding bank deposit certificate. If there is no original passbook, provide a bank-issued deposit certificate and transaction history list for the past six months. Provide other asset proofs such as property ownership certificate, vehicle registration certificate, stocks, bank statements (original with stamp), treasury bonds, equity certificates, etc. If using a spouse's assets as visa proof, please provide a copy of the marriage certificate.
Additional Documents Required for Employed Individuals:
1. Employment Certificate (Original):
- Includes company letterhead, official seal, signature of the responsible person, as well as the consulate's inquiry address, phone number, etc.
- Content covers the applicant's position in the company, employment start date, purpose of this trip, duration and itinerary of stay, who bears the expenses, guarantee to comply with local laws and return to China on time, etc. (Written in English on company letterhead).
- Provide a copy of the company's business license or organization code certificate, stamped with the company's official seal.
Non-employed Individuals Need to Provide:
1. Residence certificate issued by the local community/street office. 2. Financial supporter's deposit certificate and income proof. 3. Proof of relationship with the financial supporter.
Students or Children Need to Provide:
1. If traveling with parents, provide a notarized certificate of kinship for all three parties, with the child as the main applicant. 2. If not traveling with parents, provide a notarized certificate of kinship for all three parties, with the child as the main applicant, and a consent letter from the non-accompanying parent(s) authorizing the visit to Canada. The letter must be notarized, bilingual (Chinese/English), and include travel dates and contact information of the non-accompanying parent(s). 3. Students need to provide an original English version of the school enrollment certificate, including school name, address, phone number, the student's major or class, and school holiday dates. 4. Original student ID card and a copy.
Retirees Need to Provide:
1. Copy of the retirement certificate.
Non-employed Individuals:
1. Residence certificate issued by the local community/street office. 2. Financial supporter's deposit certificate and income proof. 3. Proof of relationship with the financial supporter.
Other Optional Documents (Helpful for Visa Approval):
1. International Travel Insurance Policy (Optional):
- Provide a policy with a minimum medical reimbursement coverage of RMB 500,000. If the applicant is 75 years or older, it is recommended to provide a policy proving coverage for health needs during the stay in Canada. 2. Copy of Planned Itinerary (Optional):
- Provide a bilingual (Chinese/English) planned itinerary. 3. Copy of Flight Reservation (Optional):
- Round-trip flight reservation issued by a travel agency or airline. 4. Original Photos at Famous Foreign Landmarks (Optional):
- Provide photos of the applicant at famous foreign landmarks, preferably group photos with others, to help prove a genuine history of international travel. 5. Original Family Photo (Optional):
- Provide a family photo of the applicant's household, reflecting a harmonious family relationship.
